What the "About Me" section didn't allow me to enter...

So I tried to copy and paste my "About Me" from my MySpace profile into the "About Me" section on this blog, but it only allows 1200 characters. Really? Who can sum themselves up in 1200 characters? Me? not-so-much.

So here it is, in my blog, a bit lengthy yes, but I just couldn't get myself to cut anything out!

I'm 100% filipino. I'm a whopping 5'0" tall...hehe! I'm fun and easy to get along with. I'm usually down for just about anything you put in front of me. From trying new restaurants to snuggling to trying new clubs/lounges/martini bars. I enjoy good laughs and good food with family and friends. I'm a graphic designer. The nerd in me loves to do crossword puzzles. It stimulates the mind. ;) I enjoy running races from 5k's to marathons. I hope to run more marathons throughout my lifetime. :) I enjoy power naps, although, the "power" part of it usually drops off and it ends up being a multiple-hours-of-nap. Something that I'd rather not get into the habit of! My favorite dessert is cookies, especially the homemade ones! Mmmm! :P I enjoy celebrating birthdays! :) It's a treat to have a grande soy chai every now and then. I enjoy watching movies of all kinds. Touching movies make me cry. I still enjoy listening to slow jams when the mood strikes me. I've been told I have an infectious/contagious laugh. LAUGH, not disease. LAUGH. Just so we're clear. ;) I crave good glasses (or bottles!) of wine. Preferably reds. But if the mood strikes, I enjoy a sweet white (i.e., reisling) in the summer months. I love garlic! There is no such thing as too much garlic! Hmm what other things can I share about the Liblet... I heart spooning. I don't heart drama. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I'm a hopeless romantic. I never used to get along with my mom back in the day because we're both so head strong and soo much alike, but now she's like my best friend and I'm fortunate enough to have this relationship with her. She cracks me up beyond belief. I try to tell my family and friends that I love them, whenever I get the chance, because who knows what tomorrow will bring and you never know if it'll be the last time you'll be able to say it. I love game shows like Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and 1 vs. 100. haha!, I've earned a yellow and orange belt in Tae Kwon Do back in 2002, while training for the Chicago Marathon. I have neat handwriting and have been told that it should be made into a font. I used to be able to draw, but I've lost it. My body is a temple and I must take care of it! I want to get my six pack back. Now that I'm a member to XSport Fitness, I'm just THAT much closer to making it happen! =) I enjoy giving people nicknames and guessing middle names. I am truly blessed to have wonderful family and friends.

The birth of my blog...

Today is Wednesday, February 27th, 2008. It is now the day that my blog was born and introduced into this world. As far as what I'm going to post on here, I haven't thought that through yet, but I just wanted to get it up and running, so I chose today to make it happen. Plus, I have a little down time here at work, so it all works out.

I may copy and paste some of my past blogs entered into my MySpace profile to get this thing started. I'll probably visit from time to time (eh, who am I kidding? I'll probably be on here daily) to drop in my random thoughts. So, feel free to stop by anytime!

I know myself pretty well to know that the thoughts may range from happy thoughts to venting thoughts to mushy gushy thoughts... So bear with me here. This is why I chose to name my blog page "The Libertine Lounge: Get Lost In Thoughts Here."
